Create and manage agents — Pazi Documentation
Create and manage agents
Agents are durable teammates with their own identity, model, private memory, skills, workspace, and conversation history. Create separate agents when different roles need different instructions or private working context. Email history and the public sending address belong to the business.
Your primary operating officer
Every account receives a Pazi Operating Officer automatically. It is the protected company-level coordinator: you can rename it and change its voice or avatar, but you cannot delete it.
Use it to understand the business, manage opportunities, and delegate substantial work. Read Operating officer for the full workflow.
Create an additional agent
Open the agent switcher in the left sidebar and choose the create-agent action. Give the agent a clear name and select a voice, then create it. The new agent is attached to the current business context.
Agent creation is unlimited on every plan. Runtime work still uses funding, and the number of active businesses or team members depends on the owner's plan.
Give the agent a real role
A role-based name is easier to direct than a generic assistant name. After creation, explain the responsibility, expected outputs, and boundaries in chat, then save reusable standards in skills and durable context in memory.
Prompt
You are the research specialist for this business. Your job is to validate market and customer claims using current primary sources. Separate facts from inference, include source links, and tell me when evidence is weak. Do not contact anyone or purchase data without approval.
Personalize name, avatar, and voice
Use the agent profile controls to rename the agent, choose or generate an avatar, and change its voice. These traits appear in chat and connected channels so people can distinguish agents easily.
Renaming an agent changes the acting-agent name shown on future outbound business email; it does not create a separate email address or Inbox. See Business email.
Choose a model
Open Agent Profile → Setup to select the agent's model. Claude Code models use your Pazi Cash Balance.
Changing Claude Code models keeps the Pazi conversation intact and resumes the existing runtime session when possible.
Build specialist capability
Add skills for repeatable methods and quality standards.
Maintain memory for durable preferences, decisions, people, and business context.
Provide secure integrations and credentials only when the role needs them.
Use scheduled tasks for recurring responsibilities.
Connect Slack or let the agent use the business's email when it needs another communication surface.
Switch agents
Use the agent switcher to change the selected agent. Agent Profile, Files, Skills, Memory, and Integrations update to that agent. Business Pulse, Email Inbox, Opportunities, Tasks & Calendar, and Business Setup remain business-wide.
Delete an ordinary agent
Only delete an agent when you no longer need its private workstream. Review its files, memory, schedules, Slack handle, outbound email activity, and any shared links first. The shared business Inbox remains available to the business.
Deletion is not the same as removing a team member. It removes the agent's product records and channel identity; credentials saved for the business remain with the business rather than belonging to the deleted agent. The operating officer cannot be deleted.
