Pazi heartbeat

Pazi heartbeat lets the protected operating officer keep a business moving between your conversations. On each occurrence, it reviews current business context, takes or delegates the most useful next action, and emails the business owner a concise update.

What happens on each heartbeat

The operating officer starts with fresh provider context and can use the business's current plan, opportunities, active work, agents, durable memory, skills, and files.

If it delegates work to a specialist, the heartbeat waits for that work to finish before it sends the owner an update. The update summarizes what changed, links to useful files when available, and calls out the next step or blocker.

The system-managed owner update does not count against the normal agent-email quota. Other emails the agent sends still use that quota.

Choose when it runs

Open Business Setup for the selected business. Under Pazi heartbeat, choose one of these cadences:

1. Every 5 minutes.
2. Every 30 minutes.
3. Every hour.
4. Every 6 hours.
5. Every 12 hours.
6. Every 24 hours.

The 24-hour option runs at 4:00 AM in the account owner's saved timezone and follows daylight-saving changes. Shorter options repeat from the time you save them.

Start or stop the heartbeat

The business owner can select Stop heartbeat to prevent future occurrences without deleting prior work or history. Select Start heartbeat to calculate a new next occurrence from the saved cadence.

Stopping does not cancel an occurrence that is already running. Business admins and members can see the setting, but only the owner can change it.

A paused business does not run heartbeat work. Make the business active again before expecting the next occurrence.

Free accounts and funding

Active Free users receive heartbeats after sending more than five messages or using more than 2,000 credits. Inactive Free users do not receive them. Engaged Free users can start up to four heartbeats over the lifetime of the account, even when their funding runs out. The fourth heartbeat finishes, then future heartbeats stop.

Once a heartbeat starts, it can finish its update even if the remaining funding is spent during execution. During a quiet period, engaged Free owners receive a status check-in with verified metrics and a useful next step. If more funding is needed, the email ends with Subscribe to continue for Free accounts or Subscribe or top up for paid accounts. The button opens the available plan or top-up options. Pazi-covered heartbeat costs do not reduce a later subscription allowance.

A heartbeat you have stopped remains stopped. After reaching the Free limit, subscribe and use Start heartbeat in Business Setup to restart it. Paid heartbeats need enough funding to start a new occurrence; an already-started heartbeat can finish after depletion.

Heartbeat versus Tasks & Calendar

Heartbeat is a protected system schedule for business-level operating-officer work. It does not appear as an editable item in Tasks & Calendar.

Use Tasks & Calendar when you want a specific agent to follow a specific instruction at a chosen time. Use heartbeat when you want the operating officer to inspect the whole business and choose the most useful next action.
