Goals — Pazi Documentation
Goals
Goals are durable records of an outcome one agent is working toward. They can track a title, description, target date, status, progress, optional numeric metrics, and scheduled check-ins.
Create a goal
Ask an agent to create a goal after the underlying plan is clear. When the goal card appears in chat, select Edit on the card to open the Goals page and manage the saved goal.
Prompt
Create a goal for reaching 100 qualified trial signups by September 30. The starting value is 12 signups, the current value is 12, and the target is 100. Add a weekly Monday check-in that reviews progress, blockers, and the next concrete action.
Copied!
Use a measurable goal only when the number is meaningful. A non-numeric goal can use manual progress instead.
Track status and progress
Goals can be Active, Paused, Completed, or Cancelled. Expand a goal to see its linked check-ins and use the actions menu to change status or delete it.
When starting, target, and current values are present, Pazi derives progress from those metrics. Otherwise it uses the saved percentage.
Add scheduled check-ins
A goal can create one or more real scheduled tasks for check-ins. A dashboard check-in returns to the goal's agent conversation; an external delivery uses the supported connected channel configuration.
Disabling a check-in updates the real schedule. Deleting a goal also attempts to remove its linked scheduled tasks, so read any partial-cleanup warning before leaving the page.
Goals versus opportunities
A goal describes the outcome an agent is working toward. An opportunity is a business-level next move in the operating roadmap.
One goal can be advanced by several opportunities, and one opportunity can produce a deliverable that updates a goal. Keep the goal stable while allowing the operating officer to revise the opportunity plan as evidence changes.
Keep goals useful
Name the outcome, not the activity.
Set a target date only when it changes prioritization.
Use a baseline and current value for measurable goals.
Make check-in prompts ask for evidence, blockers, and the next action.
Pause a goal that is intentionally waiting; cancel one that no longer matters.
Mark it complete only when the outcome is actually achieved.
